Contary to rumours circulating around the town, The Venue & Sports Bar have not thrown any teams out of the premises.  There seems to be some misleading information circulating and we would like to re-iterate that ALL teams are welcome to take part in the Winter League. The staff at the Sports Bar have taken on the organisation and running of the two leagues as we believe that we can offer a better service and a more professionally run event which our summer skittles league has shown with all eight teams enjoying a summer of skittles. All the money that was collected from the teams fees was paid back out in prize money for the top three teams, highest male and female scorer and the captains cup winner.
